Friendly Staff, very Clean and don't have an odor like most seafood markets do. Highly recommend

This establishment is clean and the seafood are well iced in bins for customer selections. I noticed that fish have been carefully pulled to exclude bad ones that have been crushed in commercial nets and only fresh ones are being sold. Not like other seafood stores in the local area, service starts when you enter the door at Welch's. Yes, "time is money" and I admire them for it. Some items are overpriced, but they are still competitive when you weigh in the service.

Welch's has a massive variety of fresh seafood, from fish to crabs they have it all. Flounder was out of this world when we cooked it. I will say both times I've gotten crabs here I've gotten a few dead ones. The workers are super friendly and knowledgeable of the products. It can be busy around weekends, and the inside is nothing special. It's just a cement building with great fresh fish!

Welch's Seafood on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is a great place to go for all things fresh and delicious seafood all in one place. I really like the selection and prices here and have been happy with all of the purchases and meals made from here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating.

Very friendly staff who makes sure you're being taken care of! The prices are fair and they have a good selection of fresh seafood. Also has options for some frozen finds that might be hard to find (ie frog legs)

Welch's is a great seafood market. They have a wide variety of seafood--oysters, shrimp, blue crabs, scallops, crab legs, fish, etc. Everything is labeled and organized. The daily specials are listed a board behind the register. The quality of everything is great. The prices are good. They carry the typical seafood add ons--butter, sausage, seasonings--which is super convenient. The employees are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Their oysters are huge and delicious. Hand sanitizer is mounted on the wall by the door. The parking lot is small but it's never packed when I'm there.

This was our first time trying this seafood market... And we were very impressed with it. It's directly off of 526, and even though it was very busy, they were very helpful and moving people along. Had a great selection of seafood, and reasonable prices. Will definitely make this our spot to load up on seafood as we leave the Charleston area.

Their seafood is fresh and the place doesn't smell fishy at all. They have an array of fish and seafood to choose from. The customer service was nice and they were friendly. We enjoyed our fresh shrimp and dungeness crab very much.
